 Psalms 91

1 He _a who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide _b under the shadow of the Almighty. ² _c I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust."

³ Surely _d He shall deliver you from the snare of the ₁ fowler
And from the perilous pestilence. ⁴ _e He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and ₂ buckler. ⁵ _f You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day, ⁶ Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

⁷ A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you. ⁸ Only _g with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

⁹ Because you have made the LORD, who is _h my refuge,
Even the Most High, _i your dwelling place, ¹⁰ _j No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

¹¹ _k For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways. ¹² In their hands they shall ₃ bear you up,
_l Lest you ₄ dash your foot against a stone. ¹³ You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

¹⁴ "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will ₅ set him on high, because he has _m known My name. ¹⁵ He shall _n call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be _o with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him. ¹⁶ With ₆ long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation."

Amen!

 

And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15 NKJV

 Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6 NKJV

The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. Proverbs 29:25 NKJV

 

For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God." John 3:20-21 NKJV

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 NKJV

1 The LORD is a my shepherd;
b I shall not 1 want. 2 c He makes me to lie down in 2 green pastures;
d He leads me beside the 3 still waters. 3 He restores my soul;
e He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of f the shadow of death,
g I will fear no evil;
h For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You i prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You j anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will 4 dwell in the house of the LORD
5 Forever.
