Are you fruitful, is your Ministry fruitful? May 31, 2012 Thursday

Are you fruitful, is your Ministry fruitful? May 31, 2012 Wednesday

Have you ever been pruned? Most of us if we are true Christians have been pruned and will continue to be pruned.  I have been pruned and God is still pruning me. In John 15 v NLT it says; “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit, For apart from Me you can do nothing.” In v4 God says; “Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful apart from me.”

In Matthew Henry’s Commentary it tells us “ The necessity of our abiding in Christ, in order to our own fruitfulness (v4-5)  You cannot bring forth fruit, except you abide in me; but, if you do, you bring forth much fruit; for without me you can do nothing. So necessary is it to our happiness that we be fruitful, that the best argument to engage us to abide in Christ is, that otherwise we cannot be fruitful. Abiding in Christ is necessary in order to our doing much good. He that is constant in the exercise of faith in Christ and love to Him, bringeth forth much fruit. A life of faith in the Son of God is incomparably the most excellent life a man can live in this world. It is necessary to our doing any good. It is the root and spring of all good: “Without Me you can do nothing: not only no great thing, but nothing.” Without Christ we can do nothing alright, nothing that will be fruit pleasing to God or profitable to ourselves. We depend upon Christ, not only as the vine upon the wall, for support; but, as the branch on the root, for sap.
It is incumbent upon us to be fruitful and be in God’s will. In order to be fruitful we need to not only study God’s word everyday but to find a “fruitful church.” Has your church or Ministry been pruned and continually being pruned by God? Furthermore in Matthew Henry’s Commentary it tells us; God made a promise to the fruitful: “He purgeth them, that they may bring forth more fruit.” Further fruitfulness is the blessed reward of forward fruitfulness. Even fruitful branches, on order to their further fruitfulness, have need of purging or pruning. The best have that in them which is peccant; some notions, passions, or humours, that want to be purged away. These shall be taken off in degrees in the proper season.

There are many fruitful ministries out there in your area, the trick is to find them, many of you are already attending fruitful ministries, you know this because they are in compliance with the word of God, if they are not in compliance with the word then they are not fruitful and you should find a ministry that is fruitful. Below I have mentioned as examples some fruitful ministries in my local area. I know that they are fruitful because they are in line with God’s word. I go to a full Gospel Ministry. There are so many fruitful ministries that I cannot list them all, for example Pastor James White, Pastor Jim Brass. You know who they are in your area, search them out and get blessed.
If you are looking for a full Gospel church to go to in the local area of Auburn, WA I am suggesting Faith&Vision Ministries (Pastor Jack Bernard) the services are on Sunday and Monday nights at 7:00 PM. We are located at; Lifegate Foursquare Church, 307 East Main St. in Auburn, WA 98002. Web page address is; www.faithandvison.com

Is Abortion Murder For Hire. Tuesday, May 29, 2012

Is Abortion Murder For Hire? Tuesday, May 29, 2012

To many this is a controversial subject, but we need reminding and we need to know what GOD says about this. Some of you will say; haven’t we heard enough about this? No, you have not; it is the Lord’s will that this will be talked about. That being said there is no doubt in the Scriptures that abortion is murder. The abortion industry is not only murder it is full of greed, and when greed kicks in, greed brings trouble and heartache. There is a price on the head of every aborted child.

This “so called industry” is making millions and millions of dollars a year off the lives of our unborn children. What does that say about this nation? Why is the church mostly silent about this? Why isn’t the church up in arms about this? Are we afraid to speak out on this issue? Are we in fear of our own government?  It is clear that this administration supports the abortion industry.

Are we in fear of what the women’s rights organizations are going to say? What does this say about the nation’s morals? Why are we teaching our children that it is ok to have sex with anyone at any time and any place? Why are we not teaching our children the consequences of their actions?  What does it say about the people, the schools, counselors and others who are “advising” our daughters to have this procedure? Why aren’t we teaching right from wrong in our schools, in our homes anymore? Is this nation going to follow the way of Sodom and Gomorrah? We know what happened to them don’t we?

In Genesis 18 we see that Abraham pleaded with the Lord not to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah as we see in verse 32 Abraham had got God to agree to not destroy the cities even if there was only ten godly people in the city, this teaches us that the Lord is merciful and will hear the prayers of a righteous man; but in the end only Lot, his wife and two daughters left the city. The city had so much evil in it that only Lot and his family escaped with their lives and even then Lot’s wife after they had escaped the city looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt for the angels had informed them not to look back and she looked back.

As by the example of Sodom the wicked are warned to turn from their wickedness, so by the example of Lot’s wife the righteous are warned not to turn from their righteousness. Why did this happen to her? Her sin was that she looked back from behind him. She disobeyed an express command from God. This is only one good example that we can learn from; there are many more examples in the gospel. God loves us and wants us to have a joyful life filled with His mercy and grace but we have to look to Him and obey Him. Let us look at some scriptures that will let us know that abortion is murder.

God will protect those who are helpless. In Psalm 12 v5 from the NLT version, it states; “The Lord replies,” I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor.” When wickedness abounds, and goes barefaced under the protection and countenance of those in authority, then the times are very bad. When the wicked bear rule the people mourn. It is good that we have a God to go too from whom we may ask and expect the redress of all our grievances, but the unborn have no one to address their grievances we as Christians have to intercede to the Lord for them.

Psalm 82 v 3-4 “Give fair judgment to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute. Rescue the poor and helpless; deliver them from the grasp of evil people.”

God cares for the unborn. Exodus 21v 22-23 Amplified version, “ If men contend with each other, and a pregnant woman [interfering] is hurt so that she has a miscarriage, yet no further damage follows, [the one who hurt her] shall surely be punished with a fine [paid] to the woman’s husband, as much as the judges determine. But if any damage follows, you shall give life for life.”  V 24 talks about and eye for an eye and tooth for tooth. On this occasion comes in that the general law or retaliation which our Savior refers to, Matt, v 38, an eye for an eye. The execution of this law is not hereby put into the hands of private persons, the elders back then and many of the present day put a corrupt spin on the law that we are to take matters into our own hands, and that is in opposition to which our Savior commands us to forgive injures, and not to take revenge in our own hands. We should leave it to God. It is in God’s providence and he will make the punishment fit the sin.

Children are from God. Psalm 127 v3 NLT. “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.” It tells us in Matthew Henry’s Commentary that; children are a heritage, and a reward, and are so to be accounted, blessings and not burdens; for He that sends mouths will sent meat if we trust in Him. Children are a heritage for the Lord, as well as from Him.

God forms every child. Psalm 139 v 13-16 Amplified. “For you did form my inward parts; you did knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will confess and phrase You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [ as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [ a region of darkness and mystery]. Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.”

This scripture tells us that God knew us before we were born; before we were formed what more do we need to convince us that from the moment of conception we are alive. Part of the problem is that out in the world so many have been fooled by Satan and taken in by his and man’s lies, remember the devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy and he is apparently doing a good job of it. There are thousands out there who do not know God, who do not believe in Him, and those who have fallen away, or have been taken in by the so called women’s rights movement that their body is their own, it does not belong to them, it belongs to God.

God plans the future of every child. Jeremiah 1v5.” I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world.”

The gospel makes it clear that abortion is wrong; it is murder of the worse kind. What are we sowing here? Are we going to reap what we sow? The answer is yes we will reap what we sow; we need to plant good seeds not bad ones. How many future presidents, ministers, teachers, scientists, doctors or just regular people have not been born because of abortion? Our Father in heaven mourns and cries whenever a child’s life has been cut short. It breaks His heart.

We as a nation, as people, and the church need to cry out to God for forgiveness; we need to repent and cry out for His mercy and grace. We need to instill godliness, morality and responsibility in our children our future depends on it.

Each of us bears responsibility, we are responsible to God, and to our unborn children for our actions. We need to repeal Roe v Wade; that will be a step in the right direction.

Our God is a forgiving God; those who have had an abortion or even the person or persons who performed the abortion can be forgiven by God, they have to go before Him and ask Him for that forgiveness and in their heart truly repent for that sin and they will be forgiven by our wonderful Savior.

You may ask; how do I know that those who committed abortion can be forgiven; in Mark 3 v28 NKJV our Lord and Savior says, “Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter.” To make it clearer in Matthew Henry’s Commentary it says,” it is true, the gospel promiseth, because Christ hath purchased, forgiveness for the greatest sins and sinners. Many of those who reviled Christ on the cross found mercy, and Christ himself prayed, Father forgive them.” All of us need to pray for this nation; that we as a nation will get back to the biblical principles that this country was founded on.

Memorial Day Remenber It. Monday May 28, 2012

May 28, 2012. This weekend in America we celebrate Memorial Day. It has roots dating back to the American Civil War in the 1800's. On the last Monday in May, our nation has set aside time to commemorate fallen soldiers and others who have gone on before us. The Lord says, "Will you take the necessary time to remember those who have blazed trails before you? Just as I had Joshua tell the Israelites, after they crossed over the Jordan River, to take twelve stones from the river bed to honor the sons of Israel forever. I tell you now to establish a marker within you to recognize your forerunners. Remember the members."
Hebrews 13:7 (NASB) "Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith."Kevin Robinson

You will seek the Lord and find Him; May 24, 2012

Deuteronomy 4:29-31 (NASB) "But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul. When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you, in the latter days you will return to the Lord your God and listen to His voice. For the Lord your God is a compassionate God; He will not fail you nor destroy you nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them."

Do we reap what we sow? Tuesday, May 22, 2012

We reap what we sow.   Tuesday, May 22, 2012

Do we reap what we sow? Reap can be defined as; to harvest (crops, sin, souls); to receive fruit of one’s labor as in Gal 6:7. Sow can be defined as; to scatter grain seeds in planting a crop, illustrating the principle of cause and effect.

Yes, we do reap what we sow; we must make ourselves aware of what seeds we plant. The things that we sow we will reap in a future time. Let us ask ourselves a question such as; if I sow this seed what kind of effect will it have on me or others? What kind of effect will it have on my relationship with God? For the most part we do not think about the long term or short term effects of something we do.

All too often we just do what we are going to do and not worry about it. We are living in the world and not asking God if the seed we plant is in His will.  I myself have planted many seeds that I wished that I had not planted, because once done it cannot be undone and I reaped the harvest for what I had done. I have also planted many good seeds and have harvested that too and had good results from the crop I planted.

In Gal 6:1 NLT it says,” Dear brothers and sisters, if another Christian is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back into the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.” In verse 5 it tells us that we are responsible for our own conduct. Verse 7 tells us “Don’t be misled. Remember that you can’t ignore God and get away with it. You will always reap what you sow.”

Proverbs 6:19 Amplified bible tells us,” A false witness who breathes out lies [even under oath], and he who sows discord among his brethren.”

Much more can be said about the principle of reaping and sowing and will be spoken about in another time. Beloved, in closing what I am trying to impart to you is that we are responsible for what we say or do and that we will be held accountable to God. God cannot be deceived if you think you are deceiving Him you are deceiving yourself.

Whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap. Our present time is seed-time: in the other world there will be a great harvest. We shall reap then as we sow now. And He further informs us (v8) that, as there are two sorts of seedness, so accordingly will the reckoning be hereafter: if we sow to the flesh, we shall of the flesh reap corruption: but on the other hand those who sow to the Spirit, may depend upon it that of the Spirit they shall reap life everlasting. I pray that our Father’s mercy, grace and righteous be upon us and that we reap a good harvest because we are seeking our Fathers will in all things.

God has told us in the Gospel that whatever we pray for he will give us, but there is a condition on that because if it is in His will He will give it to us. In other words are we praying the way we are supposed to? Is what we are praying for in his will? So what I do now is when I pray for something ( such as help on a bill, or a new car) I will say, Father if it is in your will I pray that you will provide it but if it is not in your will then do not answer that prayer, but tell me in your still small voice what I am doing wrong and I will repent ( of course I would rather Him talk more loudly to me as I am hard of hearing) but I will take whatever He gives me for our Father is just and good and knows our needs better than we do.

When we see our brothers and sisters are in sin, we should not judge them, but should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. Do not get tired of doing good. Whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone, especially to our Christian brothers and sisters.

Are You Followiing The Greatest Commandments?

What is the greatest commandments and are you following it?

Matthew 22:36-40 (NASB) "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" And He said to him, " 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."

Are You Selfish Or Unselfishness Sunday, May, 2012

Are you selfish or unselfishness? Sunday, May 20, 2012

In Mark 12:38-40 in the Illustrated Bible Jesus is scolding the Jewish leaders ( the teachers of religion) for being selfish, in Verse 40 Jesus says, “but they shamelessly cheat widows out of their homes and then, to cover up the kind of men they really are, they pretend to be pious by praying long prayers in public. Because of this, their punishment will be the greater.”

They loved to show themselves as important people, wore expensive clothing and expected the people to bow to them in the synagogues, give them the best seats at the synagogues and banquets. They liked to show how important and superior they were compared to the common person.

They pretended to be pious by showing themselves in public praying long prayers all the while cheating the common people, widows and children out of their hard earned money and stealing their homes right from under them. We have some of those same kind of self-important people today doing the same thing and would “show” righteous anger if you accused them of being the way they really are.

We should all strive to be unselfishness, and at all times to show loving care and consideration to people that are less fortunate then we are. Unselfishness means more than just generosity. It also means that you aren’t excessively caught up in your own concerns at the expense of other people. I am not saying it is wrong to make sure your life and your family’s life is better, what is wrong is to live as if you are the only one whose feelings matter.

A good example of unselfishness is Mark: 12:41-44 a poor widow made an offering of two small cooper coins worth less than a penny. But Jesus pointed out the significance of such a gift to his disciples. He knew that this was all she had to give, and consequently was a completely unselfish gift worth much more than large amounts of money given from the excess of others.

Will you stand your watch? Do you wait on the Lord? Friday, May 18, 2012

John Dahlhauser, Friday May 18, 2012

Will you stand your watch? Do you wait on the Lord for His answer to your prayers?

Habakkuk 2: 1-3 in the NKJV states,” I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected.( Verse 2) Then the Lord answered me and said; “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets. That he may run who reads it. (Verse 3) For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

In the Amplified Bible it says it this way,” [Oh, I know, I have been rash to talk out plainly this way to God!] I will [in my thinking] stand upon my post observation and station myself on the tower or fortress, and will watch to see what He will say within me and make what answer I will make[ as His mouthpiece] to the perplexities of my complaint against Him.” (Verse 2) And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read[it easily and quickly] as he hastens by. (Verse 3) For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint.  Though, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come, it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.”

Many times it may seem as if the Lord does not hear our prayers, our cry’s to Him. We see what is going on in the world, or with our family, we see evidence of violence and injustice in the world, in our family, our community and wonder why God does not put a stop to such evil. We will ask ourselves and God, why is this happing to me?  Why do you let this continue on? Why do I have to suffer? Why is my family (your wife, husband, children) suffering? Why is such horrible suffering going on in the world?

The prophet Habakkuk was asking God the same kind of questions and found out the God answered him in unexpected ways (see Habakkuk 1:2-6). Habakkuk humbly gives his attendance upon God (v.1); “ I will stand upon my watch, as a sentinel on the walls of a besieged city.  I will look up, will look around, will look within, and watch to see what He will say unto me. God wants us to bring our questions to Him but we may not get the answers we expect. Habakkuk fully expected that God would respond to his questions, and he waited in a position of watchful expectation.

God not only speaks to us by his word, but He speaks in us by our own consciences, whispering to us, This is the way, walk in it. Beloved, those that expect to hear from God must withdraw from the world, and get above it, must raise their attention, fix their thought, study the scriptures, continue instant in prayer and by that set yourselves upon the tower.

When we have doubts about the way God does things, we are tempted to think it is fate, and not a wise God, that governs the world, and then we must set ourselves upon the tower, to go into the sanctuary of God and labor to end these things. We must go into prayer and carefully listen for God and His answer to us.

When our Father answers you, write the answer or vision down so that you can see it and study it, that way it is before your eyes and you will not forget it or think it was just a dream. Then you must wait for the accomplishment of the vision or His answer. God will do things in His own time, not the time that you think it should be. It is not for us to anticipate His appointments, but to wait His time. This will be an exercise in faith and patience. Most of the time we as human beings do not want to wait, we want it now, especially in this time of instant gratification. We must wait on the Lord; He knows the right time and the right place. When God answers you think about keeping a record or a journal of His responses to your prayers. It will be a wonderful testimony to His faithfulness and will be a testimony for yourself and to encourage others.

What does your snapshot look Like. From May 15, 2012

May 15, 2012 What does your snapshot look like today?

What does your snapshot look like today?

I love using my camera and taking pictures. Many times I will go to a park and watch the people enjoying the day with their family and the beautiful day. I love people it feels my heart with joy to see the people eating, laughing, having fun and putting the cares of the day aside. I love the flowers, the trees, the grass and I will take pictures of these things and share them on FB or with friends and just enjoy them. It is a snapshot of that time. The Lord has made a beautiful world and has given us many things to be thankful for we just have to look for them they are right in front of our eyes if we look in the right place.

What kind of snapshot is the Lord showing you today? Are you so worried about things that you cannot see what our Lord and Savior is trying to tell you or show you? Are your spiritual eyes closed? Do you have binders closing your eyes or limiting your spiritual sight? Are you angry with your brother, your sister, your husband or wife, a friend or something else? Are you so busy with your work or what the enemy has put into your mind that you cannot “see” what you are supposed to be seeing? Are you so tied up with your own sickness or disease that you cannot see that others need your help and advice?

Satan our old enemy or the world is binding you up keeping you from seeing and hearing what our Lord wants you to see and hear or the healing that our Father wants you to have, or the financial breakthrough that is yours to take and claim.

Our Father in heaven wants you to have happiness, joy, peace and rest in him. He wants you to enjoy the fruits of your labor but we need to open our eyes, we need to take that “snapshot.” Close your eyes and take a deep breath then open your eyes and let the breath out and really see what the Lord has in store for you. Open your eyes and see the beauty around you, see the things you did not see before. See that newly opened door that our Father has opened for you and step forward into the door you will not regret it. Step forward with joy. One snapshot of your life has closed and another one has opened step forward and claim it.

The Lord has taken a picture of you (a snapshot) and wants you to step into it. Unblock that heart of yours and walk into your future. Bind up the evil things the devil has planned and let loose in your life what the Lord has for you. In Matthew 18 verse 18 the Lord says, ‘Assuredly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Do you not know that the Lord made you? In Psalm 139: 13-14 it says, “For YOU formed my inward parts; YOU covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise YOU, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” The Lord made you and He will not give you something that you cannot overcome. The Lord is with you always. I know He is with us for it says in verse 7-8 Psalm 139,” Where can I go from your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold You are there.”

Beloved open that snapshot and step into it see what the Lord has for you.

What is Life. From May 12, 2012

May 12, 2012 What is life?

What is life? Some definitions of life can be defined as: Living beings; the animation, sustenance or vitality of something, a matter of living; period of birth to death; spiritual existence transcending death; salvation.

Are you living your life for our Lord and Savior? What is life to you? Is life as the old saying goes, just passing you by? What are you doing with your life? What was your life like before you accepted Jesus Christ into your life? Am I doing what God wants for me to do, am I living the life that he planned for me? These are all questions that we need to ask ourselves for God wants the good life for you and has great plans for you. If we are not living the life that God wants for us is it because we went astray? Is Satan interfering in our lives? The answer to that is yes as we all know Satan came to steal, kill and destroy us in any way that he can to keep us from living the live that God has planned for us.

Life comes from God Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed a man’s body from the dust of the ground and breathed into it the breath of life. And the man became a living person.”

God carefully creates each person Psalm 139:13-14 “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it.”

God plans the lives of people before they are born. Jeremiah 1:5 “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I sat you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world.

We need to listen for that still, small voice that is within us, we need to hear what the Holy Spirit is telling us but too many times the “noise” of the world overrides what God is trying to tell us. We are too busy with what is going on in the world to hear our Father talking to us. We need to take time out of our busy schedule to “talk” to our Father and to listen to what He is saying. Sometimes what He is telling us will not make any since at all in the world but if you follow it you will be blessed. Doors will open that was not open before and you will begin the journey or path that God wants you to take. It is a straight and narrow path, don’t look to the right or the left, and don’t become distracted and stray from the path that God has sat before you.

Jesus came to give us abundant life, in John 10:10 it says, “The thief’s purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.” Jesus is the reason for life because in Philippians 1:21 Paul is telling us “For to me, living is for Christ and dying is even better, and in verse 22 Paul tells us “yet if I live, that means fruitful service for Christ.”

We should all strive to honor God in our daily life in Colossians 3:17 it tells us “and whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, all the while giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” Beloved lets live for Christ and all that He has for us. May the good Lord keep you and bless you and your family.

Who is the great liar? From May 10, 2012

May 10, 2012 Who is the great liar?

And who is the great liar? The one who says that Jesus is not the Christ. Such people are antichrists, for they have denied the Father and the Son. Anyone who denies the Son doesn't have the Father either. But anyone who confesses the Son has the Father also. From 1 John 2: 22-23 (NLT)

Will you love others as He loves you? From May 10, 2012

May 10, 2012 Will you love others as He loves you?

Love, it’s a simple saying, three little words. For some it's as difficult as going to the dentist or doctor. Three little words saying, "I love you." Let me exhort you to speak those words from your heart. Speak the words, "I love you," freely and sincerely. Declare the words openly and boldly from the rooftops. The world around you is looking for true love. They crave fame and fortune, hoping to fill the void within their heart. What they truly long for is love and understanding. Will you love without expecting anything in return? Make God’s joy complete by loving and accepting one another. Act and speak with love and affection.

Beloved our Lord and Savior loves you with all His heart and wants you in turn to give that love to others, will you love others as he loves you with no strings attached as He loves you? Love must be genuine, in Romans 12:9-10 it states,” Don’t just pretend that you love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Stand on the side of the good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

GOD is LOVE. In 1 John 4;16 it says,” We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in him. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

God's word is life. From May 09, 2012

May 09, 2012 God’s word is life.

Proverbs 4:22 For they (God's word) are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Isaiah 40:29&31 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have not might he increaseth strength. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; shall walk; and not faint.

Anger can destroy your peace. From May 08, 2012

May 08, 2012 Anger can destroy your peace.

Beware of someone with a contentious, angry, jealous spirit they can destroy your peace.

Be quick in rebuking that spirit; regain your peace in the Lord. Pray and forgive them, heap blessings on them. Bless them not curse them.

Harsh Criticism Can Destroy.

May 08, 2012 Harsh criticism can destroy.

Did you know that harsh criticism can destroy rather than help?

Galatians 5:15 states," But if instead of showing love among yourselves you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another.

The Lord will bless you. From May 08, 2012

I pray blessings upon all of you today and tomorrow and tomorrow.

In Numbers 6:22-26 (NLT) “Then the Lord said to Moses, instruct Aaron and his sons to bless the people of Israel with this special blessing:

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.”

This blessing is from Numbers 6:24-26 Amplified Bible” The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you. The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).

I love this blessing that the Lord gave to the Israelites and it applies to us today.

Here is a short prayer that we can all use or you can adapt it to fit you.

God, I thank You that You are blessing me (my family, children, Mother and Father), watching me, guarding me, and keeping me. Let Your face continue to shine upon me and enlighten me. Thank You for being gracious to me and giving me favor. Thank You that your approval is upon me and that You give me peace.

Do you have hope in the Lord? From May 07, 2012

Yesterday the lesson was about fear and how to give it to the Lord, today we will talk about HOPE. Do you have hope in the Lord, do you call upon Him in times of need or do you call to our Lord and Savior every day. I do talk to Him every day, He is my daddy another word to use is Abba (Father) and as my Father I can go to him for all things and call upon Him 24X7.

Hope can be defined as; confident trust with the expectation of fulfillment. In the NLT Romans 15:13 it states,” So I pray to God, who gives you,  hope will keep you happy and full of peace as you believe in Him. May you overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” If we do not have hope what do we have forward to look too? In Psalm 25:3 (Amplified) it says: “Yes let none who trust and wait hopefully and look for You be put to shame, or be disappointed—.” Here our Savior is telling us that hope give us confidence. He is saying put your trust, hope, confidence in Me, for I am the I AM! We can do ALL things through Christ!

In Hebrews 4:12 from the amplified bible it states, “For the word that GOD speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two edge sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and shifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.”

The word Hope is in the Gospel and as stated above in Hebrews 4:12 it says that the word of God is alive and full of power! Do you get that, ALIVE AND FULL OF POWER! What it is saying is to have hope (trust, confidence, and expectation) in God to fulfill all his promises to you. Do not let the devil, his minions or man destroy your hope, for you are the head not the tail. You have POWER in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit within you, beloved when you feel hopelessness coming on you rebuke it in the name above all names, cast that mountain into the sea.

In 1 Corinthians 6:14 NKJV it states. “And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power. This is telling us that Jesus’s resurrection gives us hope.

Beloved in closing I want to tell you in all love not to lose hope, be filled with the Holy Spirit that is within you and be full of confidence, trust and expectation in Him, no matter what your situation is be full of hope and give it all to Him, believe in our Lord and Savior, live in expectation of God and what He can do for you.

Beloved the Lord has taught me a lesson in waiting, yes that’s right, waiting on Him, my mind is telling me to get the teachings out to you as quick as I can and if you do that you can lose exactly what the Lord is trying to tell you. I want to get them out now and sometimes it takes me anywhere from a few hours to half a day or more to put it together, as the Lord told me today, it is My Time, not your time, wait on me and it will flow as it should and will be at the right time and the right place. Beloved by blessed today and wait on Him, He is never wrong!

Do you live in fear? From May 06, 2012

Do you live in Fear? What does the Lord say about fear?

What is fear? One meaning of Fear is dread or alarm in facing danger, timidity. People “fear” many things, you may have fear of your finances, maybe you don’t have enough money to pay your bills, you may have fear of a sickness or disease that you or a family member has, or maybe you fear and upcoming job interview, fear of death.

The enemy or Satan will use every chance you give him to give you fear or to increase what fear that you have. You have to get to the root of the problem that you are having. It could even be an unknown type of fear. Ask yourself some questions, what am I fearful of, who or what is causing the fear, how can I resolve the fear that I have?

We need to have belief in God, how BIG is GOD in your life? What we are really facing is a faith battle. How big is God in your life, do you really have faith in HIM? What is faith? In Hebrews 11:1 (NLT) It states “It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see.

We need to get into God’s rest. Hebrews 4:3 teaches that those who believe God enter into His rest. Experiencing His rest is one way you can tell whether you are really in faith or whether you are just trying to have faith. When you truly enter into the realm of faith, you enter into the rest of God. You can rest if God because you know that He will take care of you and the needs you have.

NLT version; Isaiah 14:10 “Yes the Sovereign Lord is coming in all his glorious power, He will rule with awesome strength. See, he brings his reward with him as he comes.”

The Amplified Version says" Fear not (there is nothing to fear), for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My (victorious) right hand of rightness and justice.” [Acts 18:10]

God will protect us. Genesis 15:1 NKJV “After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

God will not forget us.  NKJV Genesis 46:3 “So he said, “I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.”

Christians do not need to fear anyone. Psalm 27:1 The Amplified Version says “The Lord is my Light and my Salvation—whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”

God strengthens us. Psalm 46; 1-3 The Amplified Version states, “God is our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-provided help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the mist of the seas, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling and tumult.”

We do not need to fear bad news. Psalm 112:7 “He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” NKJV

Love drives fear away. NKJV 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.”

Beloved trust in God, give him all of your fears and worries and any problems that you may have. Spend time along with God in prayer, worship or bible reading that does more to encourage us and restore our bodies, minds, and emotions than anything else we can do.

On a personal basis several years ago when my mother was fighting her battle with cancer and in great pain I did not fear for her. Mother had some of the greatest faith that I have ever seen. I was by her bedside and she told me that she was ready to go heaven and be with God and that she had great faith and had always prayed for all of us kids. Mother was a great prayer warrior. Satan tried to take her before she could see all of us before she passed away, Satan did not win that battle my Mother won, she ran the race and won. Seeing her that way took my fear away and gave me the hope and courage that I needed.  I know that Mothers prayer covering is still over us, and not that long ago when Father passed away I still did not fear because I know where he and mother are. Mother was already born again but before my father’s disease took his mind right before Mother passed away I was able to lead my father in prayer to fully accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Yes I know where my parents are and I do not fear death. I look forward to being with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when it is my time to go. I have run the race and will continue to run the race until my Lord and Savior calls me home.

Are you full of anger and criticism? From May 05, 2012

Anger and criticism can hurt yourself, your family, your church family and your ministry. Yes we all become angry at times and criticize those we love, the people that we work with and our church family. Are you going to let the anger and criticism control you, is it going to get to the point where it controls your whole life? There is a difference in righteous anger and unrighteous anger. You should not let your anger control you, some people do not even know that they are letting their anger override them or they may say “I can’t help it that is the way I am, you will just have to accept me as I am.” Beloved when you accepted Jesus Christ into your life and made him your Lord and Savior you was made into a new man, a new person, the old you is no more but if you let your anger override you then you are opening the door for Satan to come into your life and control you because when you do that you are giving him permission to enter your life even if you are born again. When you feel the anger coming on you should cry out to Jesus to take it away from you, give it to him, check your state of mind, your emotions and think before you speak and cause unspeakable harm to another. Take a deep breath and let it go, rebuke that anger and let Satan know that you are not going to let him use anger to control you, remember he is here to kill, steal and destroy.

Anger leads to evil actions. Psalm 37:8 “Stop your anger! Turn from your rage! Do not envy others--, it only leads to harm.”

Christians should get rid of anger. Colossians 3:8 states: “But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language.” In verses 9-10 it says; “Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old evil nature and all it wicked deeds. In this place you have clothed yourselves with a brand new nature that is continually being renewed as you learn more and more about Christ, who created this new nature within you.”

Showing anger is foolish. Proverbs 12:16 “A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted.” Ask God for wisdom and guidance in your situation.

Beloved here is another one that I am adding, think before you speak and it states in Proverbs 18:20 “Words satisfy the soul as food satisfies the stomach; the right words on a person’s libs bring satisfaction.”

Be slow to become angry. James 1:19-20 “My dear brothers and sisters be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Your anger can never make things right in God’s sight.”

Harsh criticism can destroy rather than help. Galatians 5:15 “But if instead of showing love among yourselves you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another.”

Beloved ask God for his grace, wisdom and forgiveness. If you call out to him and be patient he will answer you, it may not be the answer you want to hear but it will be the right answer, get rid of unrighteous anger and criticism, although you will hurt others you will hurt yourself more and it will affect your relationship with our Father in Heaven. Yesterday I talked about God’s nature and his nature is LOVE with capital letters, strive to live in love and God’s grace will abound within you.

What is your Nature? From May 04, 2012

What is your nature? Is your nature love? The Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary defines nature as; “The inherent character or basic constitution of a person or thing. Disposition, Temperament, an inner force or the sum of such forces in an individual, a creative or controlling force in the universe, a spontaneous altitude ( as of generosity),”

God’s nature is love, what is your nature? How do we know God’s nature is love?

God’s love for us is beyond our understanding. Ephesians 3:18-19 “ And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”

God is love. 1 John 4:16 “We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in him. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.”  In verse 20 it states “If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a Christian brother or sister,” that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God whom we have not seen.” and verse 21 goes on to state “And God himself has commanded that we must love not only him but our Christian brothers and sisters, too.”

We cannot be separated Jesus’ love. Romans 8:35-39 “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or are hungry or cold or in danger or threated with death? (Even the scriptures say,” For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”

Love must be genuine. Romans 12: 9-10 “Don’t just pretend that you love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Stand on the side of the good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.”

Christians must love each other. John 13:34 “Jesus says” “So now I am giving you a new commandment; Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.”

Love your enemies. Matthew 5:43-46 “Jesus says” “You have heard that the law of Moses says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!” In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For He gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and He sends rain on the just and the unjust, too. If you love only those who love you, what good is that?”

Loving God is the most important command. Mark 12: 29-30 “Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Hear,O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.”

Love never quits. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Love will last forever, but prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will all disappear.”

Love helps you look past offenses. 1 Peter4:8 “Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.

We must be known for our love. 2 John1:5 “And now I want to urge you, dear lady, that we should love one another. This is not a new commandment, but one we had from the beginning.

Beloved we must all strive to have God’s nature and his nature is love.  In this teaching I used the NLT bible.

Live Life To It's fullest. From May 03, 2012

Today’s message; What does the saying “live life to its fullest” mean? "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get" -Tom Hanks, Forrest Gump. But for those who take critical decisions, life can be different. How true that is. Stare life in the eyes as you experience it like a roller coaster ride. The meaning of your life is something you create day after day with your own actions and thoughts. Life is made up of choices and decision making is critical as each choice has both consequences and benefits; please weigh the later and always choose life. For some it means to party your life away, for others it means having the money to do whatever you want when you want with little or no concern for others. For some they think drugs or alcohol will help them live life to the fullest and as some of us know most of these things are works of Satan and he will do anything or use any distraction to keep you from knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior for the enemy is out to kill, steal and destroy you.

How can you live life to the fullest without Jesus Christ in your life, you will always have that unfilled empty space in your heart and that is how the enemy will reach you, the answer then is to fill that empty space with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Embrace the Gospel (God’s word) for the Bible is the living word of God. Embrace the light not the darkness.  Psalm 18: 28-30 “Lord you have bought light to my life; my God you light up my darkness.. In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. As for God his way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.”

Psalm 27: 1” The Lord is my light and my salvation—“

Psalm 33:4 “For the word of the Lord holds true, and everything He does is worthy of our trust.”

Your salvation can never be cancelled! Romans 11: 29 “ For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.”

Choose a positive altitude. Habakkuh 3: 17-19 “Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vine; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation. The Sovereign LORD is my strength. He will make me as surefooted as a deer and bring me safely over the mountains.”

Life should be enjoyed! Ecclesiastes 9:9 “ Live happily with the woman you love through all the meaningless days of life that God has given you in this world.”  This means to enjoy life to the fullest as long as you have it.

We do not need to fear darkness or violence. Psalm 91:5 “Do not be afraid of the terrors of night, nor fear the dangers of the day.”

God prepares a future for us. 1 Corinthians 2:9 “ That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “ No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and not mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”

This is another sermon that could be longer but as I have limited space on FB I hope that I have given you some insight and good advice on living life to the full every day for you know not what tomorrow will bring. Beloved my heart is filled with love for all of you, may you all be blessed.
