What is
love? Do you have the love of Jesus Christ in you? Do you have gifts the Lord
has given you? In 1 Corinthians, Chapter 13 verse 1 it states, “Though I speak
with the tongues of men and of angels, but not have love, I have become
sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.” Here the apostle shows what more
excellent way he meant, charity, or love: love in its fullest meaning, true
love to God and man. Without this the most glorious gifts are nothing. For
example the gift of tongues, it is the charitable heart, not the voluble tongue
that is acceptable to God. Verse 4 states, “Love suffers long and is kind: love
does not envy, love does not parade itself, it is not puffed up; (5) does not
behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks not evil; (6)
does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth (7) bears all things,
believes in all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (8) Loves never
fails.” Once again beloved do you have the love of Christ within you? If you do
not it is time for you to submit to our Lord. If you have not already accepted
Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior I pray that you do so now, just call out
to Him and ask Him to come into your heart and to forgive you for your sins and
give your all to him. It does not have to be a large prayer a simple short
heartfelt call to Him and he will hear you and come into your heart. He knows
everything about you, He knew you before you was born, He knew you on the
cross, that’s it beloved just call out to Him, ask him to come into your life,
your heart and he will be there for you.
