Blessing From The Lord. From May 08, 2012

 Numbers 6:22-26 (NLT) “Then the Lord said to Moses, instruct Aaron and his sons to bless the people of Israel with this special blessing:

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.”

In the Amplified Version of Numbers 6:24-25 it says,” The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you. The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).

This blessing from the Lord applies to us today. Here is a short prayer that we can all use or you can adapt it to fit you.

God, I thank You that You are blessing me (my family, children, Mother and Father), watching me, guarding me, and keeping me. Let Your face continue to shine upon me and enlighten me. Thank You for being gracious to me and giving me favor. Thank You that your approval is upon me and that You give me peace.

Beware of someone with a contentious, angry, jealous spirit they can destroy your peace.
Be quick in rebuking that spirit; regain your peace in the Lord. Pray and forgive them, heap blessings on them. Bless them not curse them.
