Philippians 2:6 - 11 NKJV Who, being in the form of God, did not
consider it robbery to be equal with God. But made Himself of no
reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness
of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and
became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him
and given Him the name which is above every name. That at the name of
Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth,
and of those under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that
Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
1 Corinthians 1:4-5 NLT I always thank my God for you and for the gracious gifts he has given you, now that you belong to Christ Jesus. Through him, God has enriched your church in every way—with all of your eloquent words and all of your knowledge.
Psalms 59: 16 But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress.
Hebrews 11:1-2 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.
